Yesterday I've ordered the Fujifilm GFX 50S II, in kit with the lens 35-70mm, as it costed the same as the body only, and now it's on its way.
This will give me enough time to practice and familiarize with the camera before the next shooting, most probably on the 29th of March, TBC.
I would like to thank all the people who replied to my call on regular social media to help me out with buying the new camera, because the subscriptions on Patreon and DA in the past 3 days went up considerably, and there was even a generous donation on PayPal!
This enthusiasm really pushed me over the edge, and I fully committed to the idea, without even have to draw any money from my personal bank account (that is regularly ravaged by other expenses concerning the Bramley Apple Project anyway, like model fees, or the hotel rooms...)
So you better get used to the silky skin tones you've been seeing on Klara in the past few days, and coming from the X100VI cropped sensor, because you're going to see more of it in the future, just tenfold better in terms of resolution, dynamic range, and 3D rendering.
By showing the pictures at work to my regular judge of beauties, Elena, I was surprised by her reaction because, instead of criticizing the body of the model like usual, she was blown away by the sheer atmosphere created by the X100VI images, and left speechless.
By that time I had already bought the GFX, but this positive feedback was welcomed anyway.
