Not sure when I will be confident enough to take up once more the Nikon 180mm f2.8 ED AI-s, if ever, I will have to rely on the in-camera image stabilization, and possibly have faith in the models talent to stay still...
After all, in photography, if you don't take some risks, you end up making always the same pictures, maybe still good and capable of making justice of your models, but repetitive.
Challenging yourself with extreme focal lengths is a good exercise to keep your brain on the edge.
But don't try this with a wide angle lens, or your model might look cross-eyed because she is looking at a near object.
No worry here as I was 2 whole rooms away from Martina, and her eyes are focused to infinity, giving her signature stare an even more pleasant look.
And the blurred background is priceless.
