What works in a story vs what looks good.

If you're trying to tell a story, you're bound to the likelihood of what you're representing, so with videos you have to justify what you are doing with the before and after frames.
With a photo, being a single frame, you can get away with more contradictions, as long as the result is aesthetically pleasing.
Somewhat photography is more compatible with bullshit that videos in my mind.

Getting a naked lady in a shower with handcuffs on does not make much sense in a movie, because you are asking questions, because the handcuffs are not waterproof, you're going to give some solid explanation for this situation as the story develops...
But in this photo of Cristiana you don't care so much about what she is wearing and why, and if she is going to turn on the water.
For sure your fantasy can fill in the gaps if you feel like it, but the photo does not need to reply to your doubts, it just need to look good and strong, and I think the gaze of Cristiana is helping a great deal in that matter.
