I was signed to RCA in the late 90s/early 2000s, my ex, who was my drummer, was very “edgy”, alt rock, “mysterious”. He was also extremely abusive. I’m so happy Taylor got out of that situation. I honestly think Travis is a great person. So is his brother. Like a good egg. Very supportive of her. That’s what happened to me. I met a guy (English major!!), he’s a phenomenal person, very supportive. I’m in an academic situation now (U.S. history, studying the radical right), and he’s beyond supportive. My best friend. The music industry is horrible (think constant #metoo horrific and constant happenings), w zero support. That’s how it was when I was an artist & did music publicity (day job). Taylor is a powerful example of a woman owning her power.
