Thoughts for the Future

Been a while since I've made a proper post on here, both in writing and in content. I don't really have much of an excuse for it, as I have been extra sluggish on the art front. Plus, I fell back into my habit of simply posting rewards on Twitter and FA and that's it, forgetting to post the high-res work here. So to that, all I can do is apologize, and at least explain my situation and my plans for later down the line. (Buckle up, it's gonna be a long one. Sorry)
Alright, so first off, what has been going on here are me lately? Well, besides dealing with this pandemic with bouts of depression and anxiety, I've been having to deal with a few medical issues over the past couple of months, both for me and my boyfriend. In April, after we got our second vaccination shot, we were both hit with some pretty bad toothaches, which led to us having to get our teeth extracted. My case was smooth, but there were some issues for my boyfriend, as the dentists involved messed up with his teeth and he had to have more procedures done to fix it. As for you can probably guess, I had to take on more commission work to help pay for all of this.
May comes around and my boyfriend was hit with a light case of bronchitis, and some respiratory issues, such as a odd spike in mucus production. (This seems to come up when spring comes around.) He has been going to the doctor to see if there's a way to help him out with it so it doesn't happen again. This unfortunately added more pressure on us financially and I had to take on a lot more commissions while trying to trying to work on the Piggy Bank rewards.
So yeah, I was pretty much a ball of anxiety over the months, and that has not made the art process any faster, besides a few spurts of frantic working. Recently I've been trying to just do stuff at a steady pace and not burnout before I get anything done, along with streaming here and there. I'm hoping to get most of this work completed during July. (or at least before my birthday in August so I can take some time off =_=)

Which leads us to the "plans for the future" portion. While this Patreon, small has it is at the moment, has been a huge help for me and my boyfriend, I am planning on shutting it down in the near future. Or at the very least shutting down the $25 reward tier and keeping it as a tipjar.. Unfortunately, I just haven't been able to keep the content coming for it to be much of anything, and while the Piggy Bank system has been mostly a success, with all that's been happening over the past months, it's made it hard to keep up with commissions and rewards. The condition I have for is me completing 75% of my current work queue. Currently I have 18 commissions and 6 rewards in the works, so when I complete 18 of these projects, I'll make a warning about it and work on the changes later. I will try to give the Patreon rewards priority, to make sure that stuff is taken care of.
As for any who are in the $25 tier who haven't gotten anything yet, I plan on keeping your Piggy Bank balance on file, and for your next commission, I'll subtract whatever balance your had when the Patreon was closed down. (Got the Excel sheet ready for that).
So yeah, for as much I wish I could do more to keep this thing going, at this point, I think it will be better if I just look to doing monthly commissions to help keep up with potential expenses in the future. I am truly thankful to any and all of the support that has been shown to me on here, even despite of my faults. You guys have been extremely patient and forgiving, and have been a huge help for me in these rough patches. I hope for your continued support outside of Patreon down the line, but if not, thank you for at least helping me here.

TL;DR The Patreon isn't closing down or changing just yet, but it will be in the near future when I complete most of my work queue. For now, please wish me luck on completing these queue. Thank you all for reading the long section if you did, and thank you supporting me. You have all been too kind.
