Meet Peng Song

A little doodle of a new  character I've been excited to get to work on. The pose is based on a scene from Mamoru Hisoda's "Boy and the Beast" (which I still need to watch), featuring Kumatetsu. I want to thank my newest friend SerialFrost for suggesting the name for him.

Here is Péng Sōng (his first name), a foo dog and one of Sirius' adoptive guardians. He's about 2 feet shorter than Sirius, but is definitely a figure that the fluffmonster looks up to in high regard.

He took Siri in when he was about 11, for reasons that I haven't really expanded upon yet.

He also seems to have known Sirius' parents to a degree, as he was willing to keep Sirius's real name, Tenrou, and was aware of his adopted son's lycanthropic lineage. The two's relationship was a bit rocky at first, due to Peng having gotten out of a terrible family situation himself and Siri not used to this new personality in his life. 

However, their relationship grew over time and the two are quite close, being very much like father and son. This relationship seems to be very strong as Peng was quite accepting of Siri's pansexuality....probably because he's the same. (yeah his relationship problems kinda lead Peng to go bat for the other team). Also seems like the two are comfortable enough to be naked around each other with no problems.

Hell it was more of a surprise to Sirius when Peng confessed to his homosexuality.

I still fiddling his background some but I'm so ecstatic that I've been able to come up with this character. Kinda helps expand on Siri's own backstory some especially since for a while, I always had a head canon for Sirius' family life and this kinda just....clicked with me.

Hopefully in the future, I can really get to brainstorming more stuff for my characters, new and old. ^^
