General Abilities
- Gift of the Blood: Allows a dragon to utilize magic and other supernatural abilities without the need for special tools or external sources of mana.
- Eviscerate: A power attack with the front claws.
- Ghost Fire: 5605 Fire damage; sticky fire that burns underwater and deals ongoing damage to enemies (466 Fire damage per round for 5 rounds). Ten charges.
- Bite: 1584-1624 damage.
- Gore: A dragon’s unarmed attacks do double damage to unarmored opponents and cause Bleeding.
- Tail Attack: Blunt-force strike that flings enemies under 500 lbs.
Path of Alacrity Abilities
- Split Turn: Burn 5 mana points per second to immediately change momentum while rolling. This allows for 90-degree and 180-degree turns in any direction.
- Wings of Deception: The dragon teleports one body-length in any direction and splits off into multiple images. Her mana and HP are evenly divided between herself and her doppelgangers. The copies can take damage, cast spells, and strike with any attack the dragon knows - however, spells cast by copies use 50% more mana, and breath weapon damage dealt by copies is reduced by 75%. Maintaining the copies costs 1 Mana per second per copy.
- Parabolic Mastery: Your dragon has mastered her control of gravity, allowing her to stall herself in midair and recover from tumbles that would send other dragons falling out of the sky, even while injured. In addition, her wings become stronger: Wing injuries become 50% less likely to occur and 50% less disabling in the event they are injured. 1 bonus Lexica.
Path of Royalty Abilities
Level 5: Queensong of Life and Death III
As with all Paths and Advanced Paths, the Path of Royalty has a foundational ability key to the use and advancement of the class. For your dragon, this ability is her Queensong. The Queensong is a special, magically-charged vocalization which allows your queen to communicate with fellow dragons—and other species—at vast distances. It is unique to each queen dragon, reflecting and magnifying the elemental Words of Power written into their genes.
Your dragon has the Queensong of Life and Death. Three times per day, she may emit a cry which—at her discretion—either restores 50% of her allies’ maximum stamina (to a maximum of 100 allies) or causes the Fear and Nausea debuffs to susceptible opponents (to a maximum of 100 enemies).
The Queensong is a magical ability, not a sonic attack, and is therefore not affected by the Mute status. However, powerful anti-magic fields (Level VII or above) will nullify the effects of the Queensong. The Queensong will in turn degrade the effectiveness of anti-magic fields, weakening them by one spell level.
Level this ability to improve the number of daily uses, effective range, resistance to antimagic, and number of allies/enemies affected by the ability.
Level 10: Wingleader II
Your dragon telepathically calls to your allied dragons, uniting them into a fearsomely determined unit. Your queen dragon selects up to 150 allied dragons who will instinctively form a unit at her direction, gaining immunity to fear for 10 minutes, +15% speed and +12% damage.
Level 15: Pack Tactics II
Your queen telepathically summons allied dragons into a savage fighting wing, directing them to encircle a single enemy and tear them to pieces. You select up to 20 allied dragons to form a unit, who gain +15% aerial maneuverability and +15% speed against 5 or fewer targets for 10 minutes. If the unit can encircle the enemy, they gain +25% damage against those targets and one extra breath weapon charge. If an ally achieves a critical strike against an opponent’s vital area, they gain +25% additional damage to that strike. This ability stacks with Wingleader.
Level 20: Lifebringer I
Your queen dragon gains the ability to heal allies with her Queensong. By spending 80 points of mana, she can target as many allies as her Queensong is able to affect and heal them for 100 HP per unit.
=Spells=
- Bioscope: Analyze an enemy and learn their strengths and weaknesses
- Sense Aether: Detect and assess magical effects, artifacts, and locations
- Dark Focus II: Triple power of next magical attack
- Dirge: A curse that slowly damages enemies every turn and has a chance to cause the Deaf and Mute debuffs
- Haste III: Dramatically increases speed for 3 min per spell level
- Circle of Protection II: Create a 10ft radius of protection against undead, warding them back from contact with the dragon’s body.
- Polymorph III: The dragon can change her shape four times* every 24 hours into that of a smaller beast or living humanoid**. Unlike the Humanoid version of this spell, Polymorph does not allow dragons to completely transform: observant players and NPCs may note draconic characteristics, such as scales, sharp teeth, etc. After 12 hours in the acquired form, the dragon will automatically revert to her native shape. (120 MP, 30-min cooldown). While in humanoid form, all physical stats and HP are reduced by 1/3rd. A dragon can assume a Path and Advanced Path and attain skills and abilities while transformed, but they do not transfer to the dragon’s native form and are active only when she assumes the form she trains. Dragons use mana instead of Adrenaline Points when performing Path maneuvers that would normally consume AP.
- Teleport III: The caster can teleport to any location three times per day.
- Consumed by night: Darkness damage and Darkness effect in 250ft radius.
- Martyr: Sacrifice all but 1 HP to restore all HP to up to 4 allies.
- Blood Talon: Steal HP from enemies within range.
- Delirium: Inflict the Charm and Poison debuffs on an enemy while slowly draining health.
- Pierce the Veil: Greatly increases chance of inflicting debuffs on enemies.
* One instance is equal to transforming from dragon to other and back again.
** Does not include Mercurions.
