Started on A11S Vid!
Added 2016-12-13 08:50:20 +0000 UTCSo, as those of you who follow me on twitter are probably already aware, today I started on the A11S video and... definitely looking like an outtake video is in the future for this one. For the first of 7 total videos (including the win) I already have about 6-7 minutes of vid-worthy jokes. Not all of them are very cohesive thematically, but funny (IMO) nonetheless.
My goal for the next few days will be to get one video edited through per day. This goal is to spur on my productivity and salvage my mental health since I have a tendancy to get caught in procrastination/lack of inspiration followed by work-binges. Hopefully that will allow next week to be all about fine-tuning and completion. Of course I'll still be doing my best to take on the easier Pokemon videos along with (hopefully) getting out a Christmas special if I can ever get the guys online to collab with me. It's frustrating at times, but actually quite funny how uncharacteristically shy they are when we're not playing a game together. This is especially true when I entertain the prospect of public meetings. All but Corey, anyway. Bunch of tenderfeet they are.
Anyhoo, I wanted to give you all a brief update on what I plan to accomplish in this coming week and share in my excitement for what has been the most highly anticipated video to date from both fans and the NEST team alike. We're still on cloud nine. Morv never expected to get into raiding to this extent, Rhaya and Razen are enjoying the ride, Seebass is Seebass, Corey is stoked for the coming fight and Jesse and I are just elated at the fact that we're finally back to our raiding prime in a group. Second Coil was the last time we got to the end of a raid-tier on content before one of our cornerstone members abruptly left and the group collapsed when we went weeks without a viable replacement showing up. Those of you who were in Discord with us the other night got front row seats to that little story, lol. It wasn't until 3.55 when Seebass started logging back on and I mentioned a desire to play with him and Jesse (who had since quit the game) again which spurred on the gatherings of the OG NEST group in our first video in T9. The rest you all know and have been a very big part of yourselves.
All in all, we're very happy for the support and love we've gotten from you all. I'm incredibly grateful to our current team who has put nothing but their best foot forward in this tier, and in spite of all the stress and trouble that comes with this job, I'm happy to be here and wouldn't go back to anything else. Stay tuned for future updates! See you then.

2016-12-13 22:56:20 +0000 UTCCongrats again Drak! Really excited for you and Nest and hoping my group is finally able to get our overdue clear this week. Your videos are so much fun, I've watched many of them multiple times. It's great to hear there's enough material for a regular one and an outtakes this time around.
2016-12-13 21:02:37 +0000 UTCCongrats on your clear Drak! I have to say, ever since I found your videos and ever since I met you at FanFest this year, that really really gave me the inspiration to create a group with a similar atmosphere as NEST. At this point we see NEST as our "rivals" in a way - trying to clear the content before the next video comes out. Not sure if that will inspire you or not, but we are pushing for a clear this weekend!
