THAT ENDING WAS FIIIIIIIIIIIRE!!! I knew the instant I first saw that weapon in this episode, that it was the one which Eric Stevens took from the museum in the first Black Panther movie and freaked OUT!! Also, I don't know if you boys noticed, but on my second watch through which was here with your reaction, but around 5mins 20secs, after the opening credits and the cut to black, when it comes back, you see Oatu The Watcher in the background!! I wonder how that impacts things, and would he have interfered had the axe not been put back?

If things did change, what Avengers would be fighting with the Last Black Panther against the Horde?

Much like Prince Tafari, Eyes of Wakanda will unfortunately go unrecognized. The Coogler crew have done it again.

I'm just going to believe that the horde that attacked was the annihilation wave. Also I would love an animated movie of that event.

Marc Bernardin did a great interview which answers a lot of your questions. He told a great story about the zoom the writers had with Coogler.
