Rebecca wasnt cool when "they" killed her off. She wanted to be killed off to focus on other projects without having to dedicate so much time to one film. It was her decision that the writers had to work in to the story because she wasnt obligated to be in future films. Im sure plenty of people were upset with her decision because she was a fan favorite but it was her decision
