[POLL] Under 30 Club!

If a series' episodes are less than 30 minutes long, ex. The Bad Batch, would you prefer we released two back-to-back uncut reactions, or are you good with just one reaction per week?

Note: Reworded my question so folks knew it was specific to our videos, and not the actual show.

I initially thought this under 30 thing was about age. lol

David Lonewolf Wright

Also that’s only when it’s two or three episodes dropped at once. For the entire season drops, keep doing what you’re doing lol

Mark Larson

It’s quite possible I’m the only one but that’s my preference.

Mark Larson

I think "I Am Groot" is the definitive exception to this. The episodes are like 5 minutes each and it was dropped all at once. On the other hand, Secret Level episodes are also short, but I'd still want individual reactions for each one.

Oscar Romero

2 would be great for uncuts!

Thurrak

I prefer a single episode reaction followed by that episode's discussion, regardless of episode length and drop sequence (e.g. even if the whole series is dropped at once or 2-3 episodes at a time). I think double episode reactions run the risk or tend to get some parts ignored in the reaction and discussion (in general, not just the Homies)

Oscar Romero

Sometimes it’s the only way to get ahead haha

Heroes Reforged

Yeah, like how we grouped multiple episodes of “I Am Groot” into one video since they’re very short.

Heroes Reforged

Reworded my post because I think I mislead some folks with what I was asking 🙈

Heroes Reforged

That’s good to know. We usually break it up because I assume people would rather have individual episodes for everything rather than bundling them together.

Heroes Reforged

I don’t have a preference really with the only exception of when those two episodes drop at the same time like with Friendly Neighborhood Spider-man where I actually prefer one singular episode with both episode reacts and a summary at the end. But I’ll still enjoy it either way so whatever works best for ya boys.

Mark Larson

I replied for 2 but I agree with John, as long as it doesn't stress you all out. I figured this would be for some older anime content. I would say watch and react to them at your pace, but maybe edit them together so there's a 30 ish min video. If it's for a watch along then I'd favor 1 since you never know if people have time to complete 2 episodes in 1 sitting. Thanks for all the hard work.

I answered 1. As much as I enjoy being able to binge watch a show, one a week gives a show legs, especially when most shows that are streaming hvae less than 10 episodes a season. Releasing 1 a week keeps the show in conversations over the week, which incresses the odds of others giving the show a try. I DO like the idea of shows starting with the first 2 or 3 episodes, as some shows need that many episodes to really hook you.

Vierton

I answered 1, but it kinda depends on the length of the episode. If an episode is like 19 or 20 mins then 1 episode per rxn is cool. But if an episode is only about 15 mins then 2 episodes per rxn is better.

Black Marvel

I gladly agree. Too many binge-watching reactions in a row can then only degenerate into silly. But certainly not with two such short episodes. And it's absolutely understandable that the homies often record reactions to several episodes in a row for scheduling reasons.

Heroes Reforged

I’m not sure how some of those other channels record their reactions, but we usually do up to 4 episodes when they’re less than 30 minutes. Like a 2-hour movie.

Heroes Reforged

I answered two, but only if it works out schedule-wise for you all and doesn’t impact the quality of reactions and discussions. I’ve seen several reactor channels plough through series with 2 or more episodes a week on top of other shows and there comes a point where there is a clear drop off and burnout.

Adam we love your hard work but go to bed 😜
