We wanted to address all Patreon members, whether you're paying for a monthly or annual subscription or are a free member lurking around our neighborhood. Reactions have been scarce in the last month or so. That was mostly a result of us getting bottlenecked during the fall and winter with taking on too many shows at once right around the holidays and choosing to deliver them all to Patreon and YouTube at the same time instead of being more selective and realistic with what we could take on.
As we continued to see Patreon numbers dropping, we knew we had to address the issue and find a solution.
After taking time last month to reassess, we decided that starting this year, we're going to be more selective with how we deliver reactions to both platforms. Patreon will always be the go-to spot to get first dibs on everything we're watching. With YouTube, it'll be on a case-by-case basis, primarily based on the popularity of the property. Yes, things like Daredevil: Born Again and The Last of Us will get prioritized for YouTube and Patreon, while shows like Alien: Earth might live on Patreon only for now or until we can edit those videos.
All that being said, we've been hammering out a recording schedule that will allow us to start delivering [uncut] reactions for shows like Arcane, The Bad Batch, Star Trek: Discovery, My Adventures with Superman, and more, starting in March. We're going to continue releasing movie reactions on Fridays, beginning with the Mission: Impossible franchise. We also plan to experiment with solo and duo reactions for select films and shows. While we know everyone would like to see all THREE homies react to everything together, it's a bit of a jigsaw puzzle getting everyone's schedules aligned sometimes, or someone may not be interested in covering a certain show or movie, and we don't want to force anyone to watch something they're not interested in.
We've already uploaded some reactions that are scheduled to drop in the coming weeks. We'll be sure to release a weekly schedule every Monday with more details. Our hope is that over the next couple of months, we'll be able to deliver 1-3 new reactions every weekday to maximize the value of your dollar spent and also start incorporating new shows chosen by you — looking at you Vox Machina and Demon Slayer.

I understand and respect the “life stuff” and necessary breaks, but a few words here and there would have been helpful. And honestly, I was worried about the three of you too. But the way you're pulling back on the reins now, I'm sure many Patreons will return and we'll all have a great time together. I've grown so fond of you, I hope you know that. I'm right there with you and looking forward to this “March Madness”, be it TBB or - and this is super exciting, I've been waiting for this for years - finally some Star Trek, how nice! A schedule, be it weekly or at least monthly (which would be just as acceptable to me) is super welcome, as it allows me to better plan my time to watch your uncuts. Homie Level is calling me already...

Just remember that you’ve got folks out here who will stick with and support you whether you post five videos or fifty videos a month. You three do what you feel is best for you, don’t feel pressured to churn out more than what you can handle. Your personal, offline lives are just as important as what you’re doing here. Honestly at first I was mad at the drop in content but then it really made me go back through the catalog and finally watch LOTR OG trilogy, the Ghibli films, and anything else not Marvel, DC or Star Wars...was actually really nice! With Hector accompanying his girlfriend to multiple conventions per month, Agustin's day job schedule, and Adam holding the fort down getting most videos out, we knew we needed to create several weeks of runway to batch record as much as we could and hold on to it all to release at the right time. Now that we're doing that, it's more realistic for us to stay weeks ahead of schedule instead of trying to do all of the recording, editing, and releasing the week of. So, I totally understand why you chose to pause your membership, and we'd never fault anyone for doing so.

I don’t have that much money but wanted to support you guys because I love your channels, content, and community but there was a major drop in content and so I waited and eventually made the decision to pause my membership. I am hoping to return down the line and supporting you guys again but there’s been so many reforges as Hector put it in the podcast that it feels like eventually things fizzle out which is understandable because you guys have lives outside this! Again I mean no harm with this, just wanted to share my thoughts! #BePeace
