I’m the youngest of 3 boys, we had winner stays in tournaments in our home for Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Madden, NBA JAM, it was insane but I was a skinny 5th grader talking smack to varsity football players and not losing. In college my buddies and I would play Halo with rocket launchers, 25 K’s to win and every time a player died they had to take a drink. Even if a player blew themselves up or fell off the map. Now I play Mario Kart 8 with my son “as a team” where I hang back in second, third, or fourth place and take out anyone who passes me so he can stay in first. I may have “accidentally” hit him with a red shell a few times but the controls these days do crazy things and sometimes my finger slips…
