Like Hector the reason I didn’t see this is theaters was that it got away from me during that season. But I do LOVE LOTR and am familiar with anime. While some of the stylistic aspects threw me off at first there were a number of shots I found breathtaking and mind boggling to think about how they were drawn. Olwyn was my favorite character & this film is a credit to the franchise.
