2024-11-15 19:16:39 +0000 UTCI think it was developed as a show from the beginning. Not sure if there were talks of a Penguin film. I think the 8-hour run time was a net positive because of how much it was able to develop the characters.

2024-11-15 19:16:30 +0000 UTCI just don't understand being given such quality by Matt Reeves, Dylan Clark, Lauren LeFranc and Mattson Tomlin, and going but let's port this over to TV because we like the idea of this hypothetical Batman more than the quality Batman world we're being given in reality. I'm seeing it more and more. We've got an Oscar-winning cinematographer, a two-time Oscar-winning and nine-time nominated costume designer, Michael fucking Giacchino, and one of the best production designers available James Chinlund. But no it's not worth continuing in film because the hypothetical one is fantastical. It's so hard to watch as a Batman fan who's been waiting for this kind of Batman my whole life. But I get that it's not everyone's ideal Batman I guess, this is more just me venting than any hate towards you guys. Loved all the reactions to the show the last few months, thanks guys! Adam's reaction to Vic's death killed me haha.
