I have been absolutely enjoying this whole show. From the start of season one all the way through to this episode. I like the characters and how they are being written and portrayed. I think the show is well-written and plotted. It is definitely working for me. And, it is visually stunning and so, so epic in scale. Some of my favorite fantasy scenes.

2024-10-11 20:23:34 +0000 UTCLove love love this show 😁 interesting what Hector was saying about the Tolkien estate overseeing the series - I saw an interview with the show runners who said that they planned on ending Adar's story a lot earlier, but Simon Tolkien (the professor's grandson) requested/insisted that Adar's storyline was lengthened as he was such a great character!

There has been so much discourse online recently for various projects with people getting upset about changes from the source material and accusing the writer’s of not being real fans, etc etc. And it was just so refreshing to hear your guys’ take. Be as faithful as you can, but the experience of the show/movie itself should come first when it is your job to make a good show/movie.
