2024-09-06 01:20:21 +0000 UTCTo add some info to Adam's explanation of the absence of Bronwyn's actress due to "private" reasons: The actress Nazanin Boniadi said she would not return for season 2 because she wanted to step away from acting (at least partly) for a very noble reason in my opinion, to quote her: "“I stepped away from acting in September 2022, to focus solely on the #WomanLifeFreedom uprising in Iran and to advocate for the people of my homeland who have been risking everything for freedom,” she wrote. “Despite my passion for acting, I knew it would take a very special project to convince me to once again split my time between my day job and my calling as an activist. Even with the focus on the Numenorean politics this episode (which is the storyline I am least interested in), this was a strong episode. I really liked the stuff with Isildur and Arondir. And, the quality of this production continues to be so high - all the different environs look so rich and well-crafted.
