Same. Reactors can not love a show...but they do have to actually react to it in good faith. (And, maybe, actually pay attention to dialogue/events in the show.) I will probably take my money elsewhere next month.

It's established...was even discussed last episode: They believe that it preserves the dragon riding/bonding ability and "strengthens their house." And yes...Viserys' children married eachother. So, you can feel free to direct your anachronistic fury on the brother-sister pairing of Aegon and Helaena from now on.

I get that Thrones isn't Hector's thing, but if you're this checked out, don't be on the reactions, dude, just let Adam and Agustin do it. Really disappointed I paid money to watch these reactions prior to S2

2024-06-16 06:19:19 +0000 UTCone thing the show didn't made enough buzz about it except one comment but no one thought about it not even the actors or directors is that in the books, rhaenys has black hair and white stripe hair because of her mother who was baratheon and in the book is mentioned that they think that might have something to do with the strong boys and their dark hair because it's also mentioned they look a lot like rhaenyra when she was younger but with dark hair but it was totally not mentioned at all in the show and rhaenys has white hair like a normal targaryen but she is half baratheon. rhaenyra mentions to luke he has baratheon blood through rhaenys but that's the only mention of it on the show and in the books got a lot of people confused at first at seeing the boys with dark hair and why viserys never wanted to hear other shit about them

2023-06-23 02:08:36 +0000 UTCThere are a lot of Aegons so its a bit confusing. Viserys is not talking about Rhaenyra's son. He probably doesn't even remember that kid exists. They just met earlier that day when he was in a state of pain. Viserys is talking about Aegon the Conqueror and his dream of Ice and Fire. When he says "you're the one" he was talking about Rhaenyra being the true heir. Unfortunately he didn't realize he was speaking to Alicent who either didn't understand or chose not to understand what was going on.

The Three-headed red dragon flags and symbols of house Targaryen have been removed and replaced with religious symbols of "The Seven" which is the equivalent of Christian symbols being hung up.

"When we were shooting that — I think the rehearsal again, the first day — the crown fell off of Paddy's head and Matt picked it up and we just kept going. We didn't stop [filming]. There was a discovery there of this moment." "I was so thankful that accident happened, that the crown fell off because it proved to be, at least for me, quite a heavy moment and quite a turning point for a storyline that had started in the pilot: Hey, I want your crown and by the end here I'm gonna put the crown back on your head and I'm gonna help you to your throne." 2023-06-21 22:37:32 +0000 UTCFun fact about this episode; The scene where Viserys was about to ascend the Throne and his crown fell off, that was'nt scripted.. Matt Smith and Paddy Considine kept in character and improvised the whole bit all the way until Damon (Matt) places the crown on Viserys' head. The director thought that this scene was so good he kept it in the final cut. To me it's the best scene of the whole season.
