I think all three of us agree that we'd consider this the best superhero film ever made (so far). It's one of the most beautifully designed animated films, and it looks incredible in 3D. We're excited to share this viewing experience with you.

Absolutely loved this watchthrough!! I love whenever you guys bring up animation, you are so insightful in ways most "animation"-exclusive reviewers do not tend to be. It's my greatest passion, so I love when it is truly respected, and rewatching this movie has inspired me all over again. Also for Hector, it's not a western action figure but Peni Parker did get a Nendoroid figuring from Japan! It captures her and her mech's designs perfectly!

Seeing this again I keep repeating the line from the trailer when you see Peter B tell Miguel “this isn’t what we talked about!” And Miles goes “you knew?” LIKE DAAAAAAAAMN.

I grew up on disney and pixar animation, so Its always been a part of me. Cant wait for the sequels, gonna be a fun ride.

The art style was already doing a faux-3D effect at times that did not translate well to 3D in my opinion. I thought the Regular version allowed all of the artistic style choices to shine better.

2023-05-16 19:25:40 +0000 UTCOne of my favourite movies of all time. So brilliantly done. The animation, the story, the performances ... it's all so good. I want to see more animated movies get this level of care and attention. I would love to see a Batman movie, not in this same style, but with this level of care put into the art direction and voice actors. DC animated movies have felt so cheap and stagnant for so long. I would love to see them breakout and really invest into a new style and push the envelope like this movie.
