I absolutely love this movie, but back in 2014 when it released, I was CONVINCED that this would be Marvel's first flop. I have never been gladder to be wrong!

I was thinking RRR had taken it over, but now I feel they are on equal footings after this rewatch. Of course, whatever happens in volume 3 is probably going to have an impact even further on that list.

2023-04-09 21:41:09 +0000 UTCIt’s crazy cause I’m 26 and there’s movies a ton of movies I remember seeing in theaters sure. But films like the dark knight and the guardians of the galaxy even man of steel.. I remember the trailers from the theaters… to seeing it and going straight to theater practice after where everyone was like “oh shit sorry we’re a little late we just got out of guardians”! It was and still is the talk of town and for me walking out of two was the first time me and my dad shared any emotion together. Ever. So. It’s my favorite over 1 personally for that but I’m not ready for three. Emotionally physically. It’s les miserables on steroids!!!
