I wonder if that woman is the Crone trying to trick him into releasing her since the whole, "Seize your power" thing didn't work

Also, this really felt like the episode they went full-on D&D - hidden doors in secret tunnels, riddles, puzzles and traps hiding amazing treasure, portals to other dimensions, ancient ruins of long-forgotten civilizations, etc.
