Obi-Wan Kenobi Finale Uncut Reaction!

Comments

I was having a sandwich with potent horseradish at the end and I think the tears were 30% finale and 70% horseradish. ;)

Brandon

I really enjoyed this last episode the best and I think the little actress portraying Princess Leia did a fabulous job! I am glad that we got to see Obi-wan with her and his relationship that grew from their first meeting. It makes perfect sense now for me why Leia named her son Ben.

Maura Lee

Liked the series but felt it didn’t reach its potential just due to some writing errors. Oh well. Enjoyable either way. Especially this episode

Eric G

I loved this series, was so fun. Would love to see Reva appear in other shows. This was really fun and enjoyable to watch.

Roman Penna

I would watch an animated series about Reva from Padawan to Inquisitor. Sort of a breaking bad story

Carol Rozendo

This last episode just felt like a rebels episode for me, this is star wars at its best. I think the show will be look at more fondly as the years pass like most of star wars is. I think we will get more young Leia in a show somewhere, she is too good a character not to build in live action along with Vader. I would love a season 2 but only if its Obi Wan and Mace windu sat over a camp fire cursing everyone who messed up 😂 in all honesty though Obi Wan could easily have abit of a farewell tour season training himself with Mace, Yoda, Qui-Gon as well as helping lost jedi and building the rebellion a little bit. Stay away from Luke and that god damn sand

I highly recommend checking out the Darth Vader comics by Charles Soule. It really delves into Vader and Anakin when he has JUST put on the suit and it's simply AMAZING. It's only like 4 volumes long so it's pretty short read! Loved this reaction! :D

ImSkydon

I also wonder if Reva is how Ahsoka might have found out about Luke

EJ Humphrey

Weird thought. I kinda want Reva, Assange and Ahsoka to cross paths just to see what happens

EJ Humphrey

I know I'm gonna be deep in emotions when I rewatch everything from TPM to ANH, connecting with all the existing and new series while branching out further with the characters we never knew or already established. Been riding on this franchise since childhood and will be on this ship for the long ride. What a blessed time to be alive😊

It's the same sync issue here in Canada as we also don't have the warnings prompted by recent, absolutely preventable tragedies of mass shootings at elementary/primary schools No fault directed at the HR guys of course, y'all are amazing.

Athelgar

I have this problem as well. Had to adjust the time a little every time.

crftd

Is it just me, or does the sync not perfectly match with the european version of Disney+? I read somewhere that there is a warning at the beginning in the US. We don't have that here, so when I have the times exactly match, I'm always some seconds ahead.

I agree that I felt the finale was great and I was very moved during the interaction between Anakin and Ben. I loved seeing Luke’s uncle and aunt have more to do in this episode. I loved the interaction between Ben; Leia, and Ben meeting Luke. I loved the fact we got to see Qui-Gon Jinn appearance at the end. I am so glad that we got to see this time more of Leia’s back story and her relationship with Ben Kenobi! I would love to see a limited spin off series with Leia. The little actress who played her was fabulous and very believable in that role!

Maura Lee

I was starting to wonder if Star Wars was about to have a Kelvin Timeline. I was pretty happy with the show. Parts of me want to see Ewan continue to play in this sandbox, but I am concerned that might be pressing the credulity of the timeline. I am at least hoping for a lot of the characters introduced to be crossing back and forth in the other shows or even get their own specific spinoff. I got it, a Reva and Haja spinoff as they attempt to save more young force sensitives from the Empire and having to occasionally do battle with the Inquisitors as well as Reva's short temper and occasional desire to kill Haja.

David Lonewolf Wright

That was a great finale! I loved the fight and Vader saying, “Anakin’s gone” was just heartbreaking. So cool the way they did the two voices! Fantastic performances by Ewan and Hayden.

TinglesJingles

What a fantastic finale. Really has me hoping for a Vader show that kind of follows him like in the comics. I've always wanted a Doctor Aphra show so if we just got more of him in that I'd be thrilled

Weirwood

LOVED this episode and really enjoyed the season overall.

Ben Hernandez

More Leia transforming. More Reva outside of the Skywalkers saga. Chef's kiss to half-helmet voice and scene.

Peter Evans

I enjoyed the show. I thought it brought insight into some of the relationships that honestly going back and watching the other episodes adds something there. I thought they did well with the characters and absolutely loved young leia

Bri murphy

I want to hear little Leia give the hologram speech, "General Kenobi, you served my father during the Clone Wars .... "

Brian Campbell

That scene with Obi-Wan and Vader with the broken mask was great. I wanted more of that from this series. It was really the only time that I felt moved. The rest of the show felt very bland in comparison. The emotion in that scene was deep and I want more of that.

Myles Away

I request elaboration

Who knew the Larses would be the series standouts for me? I could have easily spent more time with them. Bonnie Piesse was finally given more to do than stand there, and she was terrific. Overall an uneven, oddly paced adventure with strange framing dotted with utter coolness and beautiful moments between Obi-wan and Leia. WEIRD chase sequences at ever my turn. There was much to love.

Chad-Michael Simon

this show was trash

Kraackin

Thank you so much for sharing your reactions and thoughts with us. I really enjoyed this episode and the entire series. I thought it was very well crafted. I liked the way it wrapped up both Reva's and Leia's storylines so far. I would love to see more of Reva, but apart from the Skywalker saga - much like the stories involving Ventress after she was done with her Clone Wars storylines. And, I would love to see more with Leia developing into the leader she becomes (and maybe showing us what she fills that holster with). Both of those actors were so good in this.

Jon Allanson

Loved the show. Would love a season

Lady J. Raquelle

I believe Yaddle is in Tales of the Jedi.

Wesley Marshall

The finale was great. The show had its up and downs. I don't need a S2. I mostly agree with Adam some predictability ding the series, for me. I'll give props, where they're due, Deborah Chow nailed some poetic moments. So happy for Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen. The Mandalorian is still the gold standard, for me. Can't wait for S3 and Ahsoka! Cheers muchachos!!

Ronin Unchained

Loved how they ended this season, especially how they treated the duel between Vader and Obi-Wan. While I'd love a season 2, I don't think we should have it unless it's a story we absolutely NEED to see. And I don't think his training with Qui-Gon is something we must see. But something with A'Sharad Hett could be interesting and expand on how Ben transforms into that wise old sage we get in ANH.
