I mean, my impression is that Hector is not a big fan of overly dark/cynical stuff, but there is a good mix of fun, dark themes, and exploration of powers. Maybe you think Hector won't like the political stuff? One thing I might see him disliking is that some characters are derivative of well known comic book characters (Jinx and Viktor being the most obvious ones). I personally don't mind. But I must say the first arch of 3 episodes is my favorite.

But I always saw Vi as seeing herself in that moment as too angry and too emotionally spent to deal with her sister, so took a moment (and she was only like a couple of feet away) so she didn't hit her again, and not as abandoning her.

And I think they also took the community speculation and ran with it, especially regarding a certain LGBTQ character which I'm not going to spoil

I went into this as a League fan wanting it to be good and basically prepared to love it, but I was still blown away and it exceeded my expectations. The voice acting is so incredibly well done, I can't help myself but get teary regardless of how often I watch Powder cry and beg for Vi to come back to her.

None of us really knew any of this story, we know some of the backstory of Vi and Caitlyn for example. But its when theyre older. Jinx for example is very vague and I think thats intentional because the writers for this show are also the people who wrote the backstory for league in general, and have been writing this show for like 8 years.

2022-04-02 00:13:24 +0000 UTCThis show is so good! I love how unapologetically real it feels. It doesn't avoid being to dark or harsh story moments just because doing so is what we've come to expect as viewers. In real life sometimes it just doesn't work out in the end.
