The Book of Boba Fett 1x06 Uncut Reaction!

Comments

One of the best reactions you guys have done. I know I’ve said it on a few videos now, but it has been great rewatching the series with you guys uncut on Patreon. It has given me a new appreciation of the Book of Boba Fett that I didn’t have when the series first came out. I still strongly disagree with Luke’s decision to make Grogu choose. I thought out of all the characters, he would have seen the value in Grogu being allowed to have a relationship with Din. Especially when Din never asked Grogu to choose. He was literally leaving a gift for his son and did not expect anything in return. I think if Luke had allowed Grogu to keep the chainmail, things would have turned out differently. And I understand they want to show the path that leads Luke to Episode 6 and his choices with Ben Solo (his nephew!) but it just didn’t feel right. He got to save his father and still become a Jedi. Grogu can love daddy Mando and become a Jedi too. But that’s just me! Love you guys! Thanks for all the incredible videos and the work you put in to them.

The difference was Din Djarin still had a major parts in the episode and in this, Boba showed up for maybe 2 seconds after not showing up at all in the previous episode. Again, this was an amazing episode of Star Wars and I was glued to the tv watching it and couldn't be happier to have seen it, I just wished we had more time with Boba during his own show. I like was Feloni and Favreau are doing, all this tying of the mythology together has been unexpected and wonderful. I can;t wait to continue to see this all payoff... and I am currently rewatching The Clone Wars series to be ready for whatever they throw at us next.

I don't understand the people who say this isn't a good thing being in Boba Fett show. I didn't hear a word from people complaining about Boba Fett or Ahsoka stealing 2-3 episodes of Mandalorian season 2(which they did and it was amazing, just like this was.)

Good blog on this here https://www.denofgeek.com/tv/star-wars-the-book-of-boba-fett-luke-skywalker-grogu-jedi/?utm_source=emailshare&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=articleshare

Flat Satire

Everything Star Wars in one episode.. what a time to be alive #blessed

Nurhadi Roshaimi

I had a roller coaster of emotions in this episode. Happy, sad, happy, sad, excited, amazed, happy and sad again haha

Jackie Cobb

I want Crimson Dawn to come in at the end of next weeks episode with a cameo of Emilia Clarke as Q'ira

BoxOfficeJack

OMG Adams face got SO RED at all the best bits! =D XD

BoxOfficeJack

LOL, but not impossible

Robert von Heeren

Or Cal Kestis!

Jay McFly

yep, turns a corner and bumps into Fett...sees Din with the darksaber and offers to train him..

Andrew Dickinson

Exactly my thought

Robert von Heeren

So, Grogu chooses the chainmail and Luke brings him back to Tatooine?

Robert von Heeren

I freaking love watching your reactions!!! And I'm so glad that someone got me into Clone Wars and Rebels last year :) This is just stunning stuff. To see these characters interact so beautifully and to physically feel your heart break at Mando's desperation to see his baby is indescribable.

Barbara Jones

Adam was all of us when Cad Bane came on the screen.

Blerd Gurl

This was an incredible episode of Star Wars, but not a good episode of a Boba Fett show... wait! What if Grogu decides on the armor and Luke takes him to the Mando right in the middle of the big fight and Luke ends up fighting side by side with Boba Fett?

David Lonewolf Wright

Is this a good time to discuss how much I wish they had used Kyle Katarn rather than Luke?

Benjamin Zuses

I have no idea what I even want Grogu to choose. I don't want sad Mando, but the Jedi Order could really use a Grogu to get back on it's feet. So much potentiality!!

Marco António Cadima

I believe that when they started to break the story for the next season of The Mandalorian, this was just the natural progression but it just felt wrong to call it the Mandalorian because it focused so heavily into Boba Fett so they came up with a new series name.

Christopher S. Brown

Watching the three of you react like boys in the comic bookstore delights me so much! I started watching the Madalorian because of this and have been powering through to catch up. I hope Grogu doesnt decide until after the Book of Boba Fett season ends.

Peter Evans

That Cad Bane reveal had me like 😱😱😱! I felt the hat needed to be bigger though!

Jay McFly

💨💨💨💪

Smoklahoma TV

LMAO at the ‘Edgar se cae’ video reference 😂😂

Cristian Brehm

I keep reading that, for all intents and purposes, lightsabers and darksabers are the same thing but that's not what we're being shown. Lightsabers are light and can be moved very quickly by seemingly anyone who picks it up. The Darksaber is acting like a blackhole and becomes more dense and heavy as one uses it. I'd bet Luke doesn't know much of anything about this weapon.

Myles Away

Cad Bane…… jesus I about passed out when I saw him in the distance.

tloger

I had tears in my eyes from the moment I saw R2! Beautiful episode, love the way Filoni directs!

Amilcar Collazo

This show is basically mandalorian 2.5 and I’m cool with it 😂

Eric G

This was an amazing episode. Loved how Cad Bane showed up, now all we need is for Hondo Ohnaka to make an appearance.

Lenwe

I would wager he is fine.

Myles Away

Vanth got a fucking triple kill and only fired 2 shots. Bro is a badass.... was... a badass.

Jonathan Frederick

There was some neat stuff in there but I agree with Hector this Jedi philosophy really makes no sense. Are we to believe Luke never spoke to anyone he loved? I really wish they had moved beyond that. The creators know that is a flawed concept and you would think they'd write the story to evolve the philosophy. Seems like a missed opportunity.

Myles Away

I would like to see Mando go back to Luke and ask for some lightsaber training, not to become a Jedi, but a chance to spend time with Grogu as well as learn to use the darksaber.

Athelgar

I haven't been this enthralled by Star Wars since seeing the original trilogy, as a kid in theaters, back in the 70's and 80's. Being a huge fan of westerns, in both movies and books, I can see a rematch between Cobb Vanth and Cad Bane. It would have been a draw at the very least, if Cobb hadn't been distracted by his deputy. I figure Cobb will even the score and injure Cad in another showdown.

This episode was all i ever wanted for the longest time. dave filoni directed the hell out of this episode. like you guys mentioned, to see the animated characters be brought into live action is so gratifying. the cad bane reveal had me STRESSED. i love when star wars leans into that western aesthetic/vibe, it just works soo well. That deep fake was so good, i kept debating with myself if they actually found a look alike actor for luke/mark hamill.

Sandra Alcala

Yeah it's wild how they're merging elements from the three trilogies, novels, comics, animation, and video games into one story.

jroc

Hector: you can't show Luke & Grogu this episode it will take away from Boba Fett story Star Wars: We do whatever we want

Keelan

This is the single greatest piece of Star Wars that has ever been made. Like the final few episodes of Clone Wars season 7 were brilliant. Episode 5 of this season was amazing. But this is Star Wars and I am floored by it. The quality of the CG on Luke’s deepfake is light years ahead of the one from last year. It was so mind blowingly believable, still some issues with the lips when he’s talking but I found myself straining to look for flaws which means it was incredible
