WandaVision 1x5 Uncut Reaction!

No... I think he said popsicle because of vision's color

Krishna Taveras

I have a theory. Pietro said who's the popsicle.?? Does he see vision as the dead version?? Does he see through the hex?? Just a thought

Jeff Nowack

So Monica mentions she has an aerospace engineer friend who might be able to help. Smart money says this is Riri Williams aka Ironheart but what if... And this is a STRETCH... What if the bubble expands just a little bit right after the aerospace engineer shows up, the SWORD tents turn into an office building for a single camera workplace sitcom of the early 2000's. Camera pans over to Reed Richards (John Krasinski) at his desk who reacts straight into the camera?

Michael Guedri

It’s not. 🥰

Michael Guedri

WandaVision makes Age Of Ultron even better

Roberto

what if The mutant gene was dormant in mutants in the mcu, and Hydra unlocked some powers in Wanda and Pietro (her telekinesis and telepathy), but the snaps activated the dormant gene fully in those people that have it...and it’s happening quicker with Wanda than the others because her door was already half open. Her reality warping powers are just now in the last 9 days coming online and she can absolutely not control them. As far as Pietro, the perimeter alarms were going off again when he showed up, so I think he came from the outside. Whether he’s really Fox’s Quicksilver or not, I think someone sent him in (where he quickly became wrapped up in the illusion as Uncle Jessie basically) because vision wasn’t doing the trick anymore keeping her complacent.

Castigear

This is probably not a full intro for the Xmen. This version of Quicksilver will likely not be around for a while if the rest of the show is any indication. My hunch is this will be a temporary incarnation. This feels like part of the traumatic response that finds itself being played out like a sitcom. This feels in line with the sitcom theme.

Myles Away

Here's the thing...he probably wasn't supposed to say but last week Patrick Stewart said Kevin Feige asked him to come back as Xavier but he denied. I think the crossover will last more than Wandavision

Evan Hourany

"You did it . . . you crazy son of a bitch - you did it . . . " Dr. Ian Malcolm So good to watch these episodes with your insight and reactions. I don't have the comic book knowledge, so it's the perfect 2nd screen content. I don't think Marvel would just plop Evan in to this show / this Universe without meaning. I do agree it's a clear indication of the multi-verse link between select FOX X-MEN characters appearing in future projects. Feige was so involved in the early X-MEN films that it makes a ton of sense to recognize that universe and pull from it. It's the ultimate mega flex - a 20+ year Kevin Feige comic book arc! Well done Marvel . . .

PT Jarman

OMFG, I thought Episode 4 and your reaction to that was my favourite but HOLY SHIT this episode blew EVERYTHING out of the water for me......I laughed, I cried, I cheered and was terrified and I loved every second of it. I think it's only going to get crazier and ramp up from here. With the progression of episodes and decades, assuming Episode 6 is the 90s, 7 the 00s and so forth, do you think we may end up at the moment Vision dies in Infinity War and Wanda loses it, maybe she recreates the final battle in Endgame as a "what if" scenario where Vision is somehow there still. Also, I remember Elizabeth Olsen saying we will see her as the Scarlet Witch, I wonder when that will happen.....Also lost my SHIT and replayed it when Evan Peters showed up. I don't know WHERE this show is going but I am HERE for it. Love watching your reactions as always homies

Nick Lee

Part of me wanted him to say “You didn’t see that coming?” Hahaha

JD Kalantar

Ok. New thought. Wanda is not in complete control. How? Because each episode, events happen to where Wanda's powers need to grow. Because right now she's not strong enough to bring him back. YET. Episode 1: Levitating things. Episode 2: Creating things out of nothing in the magic show and reversing time. Episode 3: Creating Freakin Life. So someone wants Wanda to get more powerful. So this goes into the Hex thing. Way back in 2020, the very first leaked photos of Wandavision were of a group of witches. Where they at? What if its a hexagon because there is a witch at each of its corners keeping up the barrier?

Brandon Tijerina

Go with me for a minute here. Christophe Beck’s scores for Ant-Man and Ant-Man and the Wasp are among the best of the MCU. I was thrilled to see they tapped him to compose for WandaVision. One of his most unrecognized contributions was the theme he wrote for Hope/Janet and how it folded seamlessly with Scott’s. It always reminded me in chord progression of Waxman’s Bride theme from The Bride of Frankenstein. Along comes the end credit music for WandaVision, which is an even better match, thematically. Have a listen! https://youtu.be/t-0hZu4Ew4o

Chad-Michael Simon

I think Wanda won't being back human life. She reanimated Vision but he is synthoid. She mentioned the rules in life. I think it's rules in magic. Because she won't bring back Pietro, she brought Pietro from another universe in.

Jeremy C

Hot take - when Wanda comes out of the town, I don't think that's her. That accent comes out of nowhere, and she would have had to leave her kids sitting there?

Kim Frierson

The actual timeline is very interesting, as WandaVision as noted was supposed to be the 4th release in phase 4, and how this might change Spiderman III, as Sony had broken the link to the MCU "after" WandaVision was announced. So was WV rewritten to include the next Spiderman movie?

Andrew Dickinson

Wouldn't it be the ultimate troll if Feige came out and was like... Well, it was an 80s episode so we thought it'd be fun to put in Marvel's 80s Quicksilver before we retire him and bring in our own, new version of the hero.

Heroes Reforged

I definitely understand Hector's reservations about bringing in X-Men Quicksilver. It's especially a flex from a real-world perspective given that the last two movies that he appeared in were not well-received (Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix). I guess the main thing is that I feel that Kevin Feige has earned the trust that it will serve the story well and that it will ultimately result in a satisfying fan experience. I will also agree that I don't need to see Hugh Jackman or Patrick Stewart again in their X-Men roles. I loved both of them, and I want Logan to stay as their swan song.

Brian Schuler

Also, if Wanda didn’t bring Quicksilver back, and someone else did... whoever that someone is probably plucked a Quicksilver from another universe because the one in this present day universe is long dead. They play a lot on the elements of not be able to bring back the dead this episode. These are all served as distractions for Wanda and this was like “best case scenario” like “yeah bring back her brother. Oh we can’t, he’s dead? Grab one from another dimension then”

Avery

I think Agnes killed Sparky so she could see what Wanda would do. She almost seems like a plant that was put in there to study Wanda and always be around her. She plays it up like one of the citizens in the face of her abilities, but is fully aware that Wanda has them.

Avery

I watched it with a live stream in the middle of the night and now again with you guys. It was even better the second time with anticipation and seeing it through your eyes. It's pure tension. Beneath that is this unbearable current of sadness. This is a mudda fuddin' exploration of GRIEF. Every line seems to have two or three meanings. That ending. Boy, was I waiting to see your faces for that ending. Blew the universe wide open. I can see Wanda thinking, "No, this can't be. You're dead," and Pietro shrugging like, "Not in my universe." I think about it like how Aunt May recognized Peter B. Parker in Into the Spider-verse. Different person altogether, but the essence is there for people in tune with it. Age of Ultron keeps popping up as the Play Next. I keep diving back into it. From that moment when she becomes an Avenger to this... from Vision's birth to this... What an amazing journey.

Chad-Michael Simon

So, midway through the episode, when her sons ask if she had a brother, she likes and says "he's really far away and sometimes I miss him" that was her unknowingly pulling a living Pietro into this universe. This is backed up by later when sparky dies and Wanda says "you can't just bring people back from the dead". She didn't, she just grabbed a different one. That was my read and that feels purposefully disconnected from Fox that doesn't mean the Fox Verse is just going to bleed in, I DON'T think that's what they're going to do. This is special for Wanda and I DO think we get ATJ's Pietro also.

Philleous Stricklin II

This is something I thought about as well but we know from Monica that Wanda was controlling her. There's definitely something more going on but I wonder how much Wanda is in control of

Alec Figueroa

STILL BAFFLED. THIS DOESN’T FEEL REAL

kyle hodges

And Norm said "She" not "Wanda."

Brandon Tijerina

I am thinking the universe is going to get jumbled and need straightening out, but it isn't 100% which leaves us with some of the Fox characters and an awaking of mutants. This also might explain how Beck wasn't laughed straight into The Raft if "Fury" was well aware of the multiverse after the events of WandaVision.

David Lonewolf Wright

I think since she didn't have Pietro's body, but "family is forever," she pulled the closest Pietro, which is from a different universe. And I don't think we will see everyone from Fox cross over. Quicksilver, as far as we know, is the only one two had a double. And they weren't the same person. So we may see some people. But there is an Xavier and Eric in the MCU who are not the same.

Brandon Tijerina

Just Subscribed, best episode yet and great reactions!

MICHAEL ROPIETSKI

So did they really just merge the MCU and the Fox Marvel movies? This episode was packed with stuff. If Wanda said she doesn't know how things are working could that mean Grim Reaper or Mephisto or Agatha are really behind this?

Greg McCoy

Elizabeth Olsen never made a direct Luke Skywalker/Mandalorian comparison in terms of a big reveal for this show. That was a clickbait headline. She was asked is there a character that hasn't been revealed yet like Luke in the Mandalorian and she said yes. Secrecy not scope was the question.

serendib

But seriously, if they just simply make it, oh we cant get aaron, n we just simply recast quicksilver by evans, i'm gonna be so disappointed. Dont think that's gonna happen coz i think marvel studio can do better than that. But if it did happen, i'll be so disappointed.

Monica Winny

Sooo much going on this episode

Nadia Silla

Dudes, it's the "Agustin and the Mystery of the Tiger" for me

Nicole Sarmiento

Yeah but thats why it works, Wanda and Pietro from the mcu were born in 89 so it wouldnt be possible to bring him back at all, like she said you cant bring PEOPLE back from the dead

Tom Clough

We saw him briefly in Dark Phoenix (early 90s)

Vojislav Varjacic

For Evan Peters, i mentioned this on the discord. They actually set it up to be X-Men Pietro by stating you need time approriate tech to see in without it changing form. The last time we saw Pietro in xmen was in the 80's which works for the multiverse of madness

Tom Clough

32:37 -- That prediction though.

Heroes Reforged

wasn't Wanda surprised when the doorbell rang and when "he" showed up??? so I'm thinking whoever is behind the whole thing is manipulating the kids and "he" who showed up so that Wanda keeps wanting to stay in this reality since Vision is realizing stuff... imo

Oscar L

This episode BLEW MY MIND !

Big Mo

YESSSSS WHEN I SEE IT'S QUICKSILVER I WAS HOPING IT'S AARON TAYLOR-JOHNSON!!!! BUT ITS NOT, N IM FREAKING OUT!!! IT'S THE XMEN MERGING TO MCU?! WTF?! WHAT IS THIS? HOW? WHAT YEAR IS IT? AM I ME? I DON'T KNOW THIS REALITY ANYMOREEEEE

Monica Winny

5 stages of grief. I think we are transitioning to Anger. denial. anger. bargaining. depression. acceptance.

Tim Rust

Regardless of ads, that was still awesome guys. Agustin's reaction to Quicksilver is one of my favorite reactions of all time.

Jeffrey Hale

Ok besides the obvious huge reveal in this episode, i am extremely interested to know whom Monica was texting. She said she knows an aerospace engineer that is up for this challenge. I know a character that would fit that description and which is scheduled to appear soon.

Tobias Winther Dahl

Well, I went in and re-re-clicked the ad setting. Hopefully that fixes the issue.

Heroes Reforged

The build up of this season is on par with Mandalorian season 2 at this point. It has done as good of a job of making people speculate and theorize and will continue to do so right up until the end. Disney+ has found the secret to week to week episodic television.

David Isaac

Ads should only be before the video and after the video.

Heroes Reforged

Am I the only one that got crazy amounts of ads on the video, like, I was getting ads every few minutes

Jeffrey Hale

So, random theory time, haven't watched the reaction yet so I don't know if the guys made this connection that my mind went to. But Monica is totally a Skrull. No internal organs, refused blood drawn and got weird when Captain Marvel was mentioned are all pretty good flags, at least in my mind.

Invernos

I'm pretty sure that's just so people with a vision (heh) impairment also get why it's such a big reveal/surprise. Not saying he's definitely not the Fox/Multiverse Quicksilver, but I doubt they'd put the definite answer to that debate in the audio description like that.

Steven Kuit

Was waiting to watch again with you guys!!!! PS check out the last scene with audio description on
