Hey everyone!
Finally a Cathryn update am I right? This update is huge!
This chapter introduces a new milestone feature which are "voice messages" and therefore the game has her first voice actress ever! Cathryn our first girl gets the first voice actress, it couldn't be any better. The voice of Cathryn is @AmeAfterDark, I believe her voice really fits Cathryn so please give her a nice welcome to our Community.
So what's in the update?
Cathryns Friend (unlock her during gameplay)
22 New Unique Images
11 Endings (some of which have sub variants)
8 Variations for Chapter 4 (through decisions from chapter 3)
Popup Notifications in Chat
Voice Messages
Patreon Code changed to -> alice679

This update took a lot of work. Finding a voice actress wasn't easy and I have yet to learn a lot about art direction when it comes to voice acting. I try my best here and when doing new things sometimes it doesn't work right away. So feel free to leave feedback on the new features. We will work on improving them step by step.

It should store the audios for later listening, in a gallery of sorts like the photos are.

And when you want to replay you can always reset the chats. Remember that the fast forward button lets you skip through all the text you already played through. :)

2024-10-16 22:43:22 +0000 UTCI haven't done all the routes but on the Android version some images are missing (or don't load) and some of the audio doesn't start or is inaudible. Otherwise, it's a great job, especially in such a short space of time. All these new features are brilliant!

2024-10-16 20:02:20 +0000 UTCNo trouble at all just reporting to help out where I can, I had tried a couple different variations and I was able to get Alice to pop up for Ch1-Ending 1/3, Ch2-Ending 4/14, Ch3-Ending 4/10, for Ch4-Variation 4/8 made Alice appear, but none of the other couple of paths I had tried. Very good game I enjoy every update that comes out <3 It seems like some paths will make her show up and some wont from my testing

2024-10-16 18:07:14 +0000 UTCI had this happen to me the first time, but then I reset her chat and played Cathryn from the start and it worked. Try that, then if that doesn't work, try a clean install instead of updating the app. That fixes many update errors.

2024-10-16 18:00:34 +0000 UTCI had Alice show up, and I'm on mobile. Using a high end device tho, Samsung s24 ultra, if less powerful devices are having issues it could be an optimisation problem. I did, however, have a broken image in chat (caused black screen until I clicked anywhere, returning me to chat) and 2 broken (black screen) images in gallery.

2024-10-16 17:25:31 +0000 UTCHello! Catherines friend wasnt added to my contact list after notification on mobile and all media after the second voice clip is broken/not showing up. There is one broken voice clip and two broken pictures before the route breaks fully. The broken pictures show up as gray boxes in the gallery and as what looks like empty containers in the main chat.
