207 - No News No Nothing...

News. I have none. I'm sure something did happened during this week but nothing comes to mind at the moment. Moving on.
The Games. Decided to take a brake from XC1. After beating the main game I jumped into the Future Connected right away, but it soon begun to feel like a chore so I decided to take a brake by playing some of the VNs from my backlog. NinNinDays 2 was the first in line. Like with pretty much all Qureate's VNs the story here is not good nor bad, it's just sort of there. But as usual there is a lot of fanservice and the art is fantastic :)
The work. Right. There will be no gameplay video this week. Here is the thing, every time I need to make a switch from drawing to writing it takes me a minute to get into the groove. I wrote an intro scene for the brothel, but soon realized it was boring and dragged out. Next day I rewrote it from scratch, and now it's short and to the point, but most importantly it's fun to read. ^^ After that I kept working and working.
The work Vol.2 Despite being non-mandatory money sink the brothel will have a rather complex structure to give the player an incentive to visit it again and again and discover new stuff every time. In other words I need to dedicate some extra time to make sure the writing is solid and all the events work the way they supposed to. Don't worry, I am almost done and next week will show you the gameplay of the thing. Probably.
Monday Surprise post. There will be no MSP this week since I have nothing to show. Next week though I will share the gameplay vid. ^^
Thank you for the moneys. Despite me not asking too loudly, quite a few people herd my plea and decided to up their pledges. Thank you for that. The situation I am in will resolve mid summer one way or another, and after that we all can return to business as usual.

I absolutely hated that job, especially considering that I get nervous when I speak on the phone with strange people. Long story short I did such and awful job I got fired one month later. I was so happy ^_^ But I still remember the horror of working somewhere where you have to deal with people a lot -_-
