170 - It's May Already...

Hello bros. It's your favorite provider of family friendly educational content with another Monday Post.

Hm... There are roughly 52 weeks in a year. 170/52 = 3.2 years. So for 3+ years now I've been making a post each Monday, without missing a single one. That's wild 0_0

The life. Don't know what to say, life goes on. My health situation could've been better but it could've been worse too. I am back to working so I shouldn't complain.

P.S. Jogging makes me feel really good, but it's making my knees and feet hurt -_-

The work. Re-writes are taking longer then expected. There is only one scene left though and after that I need to write a clever "Next Episode Preview" scene and I will be done with the writing stuff for this Ep. I think the main reason it's taking me this long is because of all the family friendly educational scenes. When it comes to scenes like that it's easy to make them boring and awkward, and to avoid that extra work in the brain department is usually required on my part -_-

The plan is to be done with ALL THE writing crap by Wednesday and after that finally get to finishing up the art assets. Thank you for your patience as usual.

That's it. Thank you for your support. ^_^

I always feel so reluctant about doing the stretching. But I agree it's super important. I'll try to do better -_-

AKAMAN

Thanks. I am currently researching and trying to learn that stuff. About the shoe, about the running techniques. Thank you for the advice.

AKAMAN

Thank. I'll definitely look into this!

AKAMAN

I love you.

Thank you for your support, man.

AKAMAN

Yeah, I actually bought a really simple elastic one few days ago. ^_^

AKAMAN

I hope you're right about the starting up pains. Don't worry I don't plan to give up unless I absolutely have too. ^^

AKAMAN

BroWifu... I knew I can count on you. Thank you for the 170 likes!

I feel ya on the exercise. I take my hour lunch at work to get in an hour power walk, roughly 3 miles a day, and my hips have been killing me recently. Stretching is key.

Heya. :) You need to learn how to properly jog. Otherwise you will destroy your knees. I'm around 110 kg (240 lbs). We were jogging before actual trainings as a warm up. In just a few weeks I felt acute pain in my knees. I was stupid enough to place my feet on heels during running. :D It slowly came back to norm after controlling sole placement. Special footwear for running helps as well. Especially if you're a big guy.

I've recently gotten orthodics in my shoes. After a couple days of sore feet adjusting to them they've really helped my feet, legs, and lower back stop hurting so much! They were expensive but worth it.

You know, a little bit of running, a little bit of lifting, and soon enough you're arm-wrestling with a city guard that becomes your friend.

I've been considering swimming too. Although of course it's trickier then jogging there are not so many public pools in the area where I live. But thank you for sharing your experience. (The chlorine part was a joke, right? 0_o )

AKAMAN

I was a dedicated jogger for years, helped offset my smoking habit. Eventually it caught up to me though and I had to switch to swimming, very low impact cardio training. The only side effect is that the chlorine in the water bleaches my hair.

Do whatcha gotta do. Writing is hard damned work, but at the end of the day while we all love your art the hilarious dialogue is one of the things that make an Akabur game. (BHB was a beautiful game, but it never had the same draw because it just wasn't as *fun* as your solo stuff.)

Dubsington

Glad you seem to be healing up well!

For your knee pain, try jogging wearing compression knee braces. It will keep everything straight and in place, should reduce pain.

trollmahn

Glad to hear you are picking up. As to the jogging. This might just be start up pain. You did lead a mostly inactive life for a good while. Every spring when I get back on my bike after winter EVERYTHING hurts the first week or two :D Stick with it for a while and maybe consult a doctor if it keeps persisting.

And I've been liking every one of these posts. Man, I think I've hit 5 years or something of support... That's not enough ! Here's to 5 more years of family friendliness <3 Take care and I'll see you next monday o/

Rwede

As they say Slow and steady wins the race, thank you for the update Akabur
