Next Audio Poll
Added 2022-09-27 01:28:40 +0000 UTCHeyo everyone!
I have been moving a little slower than usual these past few months, but with the Halloween-hype building up, I am hoping it keeps me on my writing toes - or something like that.
Anyway! My point is, it's time for the next audio poll! I still have the 3rd of the previous poll to make (Gallant part 2, in case anyone forgot), but just so that I know what I'll be working on right after that, I'mma start things now!
It is a stretch to say that I will be able to finish the Gallant audio, and then one of the ones below by Halloween (as much as I wish that were possible). But! Still, in the spirit of the season, I have gone and made this poll a bit darker and spookier than the one that came before it.
The top 3 options will be made into the next rotation of audios!
As always, you can vote for more than one option:
1: Gangbanged by a horde of demons - A remake? Kind of. This was kind of the audio that took things off for me originally, but I think I can do better than that. And, even better: I can and will tie it into some good-good lore. In fact, it's the next part in one of the big series going on right now. Can you guess which?
2: The Blackguard - In DnD a paladin is a knight of light, justice, and honor. They serve an ultimate kind god and strive to be a paragon of what is good. A blackguard is the exact opposite. He isn't a kind man. There isn't a facade of toughness with a soft and tender side behind it. He is ruthless, brutal, and dangerous. And if you're caught up with the Curse of Extempore, you might have heard whispers of him before.
3: A group of goblins - this sounds like a shitpost; I promise you, it's not. I know you're all familiar with Jakz (maybe), the futuristic, sarcastic, sassy, green shorty, and some of you are fine going to poundtown with him, but some just find it funny. These aren't the same. These are secretive creatures, lurking in the dark, underground, or out of sight. They can be viscious and a real threat. But they also simply cannot stop their thieving hands when it comes to something pretty.
4: The fortune teller - Not of the modern kind, about to whip out a tarot deck, or read the lines of your palm. Instead, someone who's eyes betray a certain knowing, as if they see things that aren't there, or never were meant to be seen. Maybe the more of your body that you offer up, the more he will know about your fate.
5: The Jester - Some call him a madman, some just think he's funny, but for whatever reason, the lord keeps him in the court. Though, as his ravings about rumors increase, he is seen less and less frequently. Still, it can't be that hard to pull him aside and ask a few questions, can it?
6: The Prisoner - You've been a prisoner in some audios before, isn't it time the roles were reversed? Are you sure? There's something off about this one. His devlish grin, despite the dire circumstances, the way his eyes snap to yours, the markings he writes on the wall, and the whispers that you only catch bits of as you walk by. Are you really sure you'll pause, for him?
7: The Long Night - Deep in the north, in the cold, and in the dark, lurks a power thirsting for any who would have it, or so the stories go. You're not sure you believe them, but it's a tradition to bring newcomers on the journey. A sort of right of passage. Surely, the man going with you will make sure you're back in one piece, despite the uneasy feeling he gives you. Right?
8: Let's summon a demon - Come on! It'll be fun. It's not like this stuff is real anyway, right? I've been asked a few times where the "part 2" to the Ouija Board improv audio is, and up until now, there hasn't been one. But you could change that.
9: My own choice - I don't know if I'll put this option on every poll, but it's made it into the past few. I have stories in mind that I want to tell, and I have a pretty good idea of what would be a fun addition to come next. If this wins, I'll choose one of the above based on my own opinon, regardless of its votes.
