Given that they didn't even give this series it's full run, I'm not getting my hopes up. It's amazing how the Owl House team can get us to feel so deeply for a character we just met. Poor Raine. I relate to how you called both of these episodes the best episode yet. XD Just wait, the hits keep coming...

I agree that the duet scene is possibly the most beautiful scene so far in the entire series... It's just perfection in the music, the animation, and the heartwrenching emotion as it becomes obvious that Eda is so distraught that she's willing to throw her life away. The next one is just filler, of course. Like a plate of flapjacks, really... just plain flapjacks. Nothing special going on. But the rest of the season is a real hoot.
