2025-01-15 20:29:09 +0000 UTCThis chapter was a monster. • Great fight, with Arachne being a badass as always. • Surreal ramblings of Greg to the simulated Squealer, Greg will always remain a mental case indeed. • It's nice to get to know Miss Militia a bit, and I believe the companion bonus did a little in letting her connect to Void Cowboy earnestly. Despite her faults she's a good person. • That heist scene with the flashback in between real time, delicious. The conclusion with Squealer hit by Skidmark hits hard. • And finally, Taylor. Everyone likes Mush, but she's my favourite. It was absolutely beautiful.

2025-01-15 14:30:16 +0000 UTCFantastic chapter, but it kind of took me out of it when Squealer said "porn-brained incel" as that's LATE 2010s to 2020s slang. Incel would be a niche word in 2011 and hadn't been appropriated by opponents into an insult yet. I don't think ANYONE had used the term porn-brained. Now, Greg is extremely online so it makes sense he knows words like tsundere and incel before normies at large, and this is technically a projection of his power, but it's supposed to be [REAL] Squealer and seems out of character for her. Not that a woman in 2011 wouldn't be totally creeped out by Greg's monologue, but would instead call him something like a "porn-addicted creep" or even something worm-specific like "Heartbreaker wannabe". Just a thought.
