Inktober - The Lovers
Added 2019-10-07 18:46:03 +0000 UTCI had a bit more fun with visualizing the meaning of this card. Original is full of symbols that are rooted in christianity, but i wanted to give it a bit of a humanistic spin. There's still some angel and serpent imagery but instead of being placed in the background as a part of space around lovers, I decided to merge it with the lovers themselves. That implies that spiritual world affecting them is not really physical but is the part of their own nature, it's within them, created by them. They are their own angel who protects them. They are the serpent, and in their nature they are united.
