So I’m working on the next video at the minute. This one is an educational one! No more fire for a while!
After the how to build your own case and power supply the next obvious step is to build a solid voltage controlled oscillator.
It will be a stripboard project,
My thinking being if you do it on stripboard you can make it how you want. The design isn’t decided for you. You have more freedom.
The video will be based around a very simple oscillator with triangle and square out. With only v/Oct input. And a square and triangle output. To keep the design simple.
But I will go on to explain how a design like this is modular. If you want to add extra inputs/functionality it’s like plug in “modules” you add to the stripboard design. For instance an extra cv input, or PWM. Or even octave adjustments. Or sine wave and sawtooth outputs.
I will include some designs of These optional add ons. But they are really up to you. And I’ll probably do another part to the oscillator later in the month.
How does this sound?
