When I was a teenager (that was a long time ago :) ) I went on a one week, residential activity center thing that was located on the premises of Mill Hill school I seem to recall (presumably giving my folks a school summer time break from my presence in the house :) ). They had a C5 as one of the activities you could do, riding it in big loops up and down the school playground.
I seem to recall it was pretty heavy (weight of batteries and all that) and the gearing choice was limited (only one fixed gear maybe?), and for the more (even only relatively slightly) uphill parts one was rather in need of the assistance from the electric motor to get it to move at least reasonably, and it wasn't exactly exhilaratingly fast.
I also seem to remember one being available for hire to ride around Aylesbury town centre at the time, but I haven't found anything about that on the internet, so maybe my memory is false on that point.
Anyway, John Otway has (or had) one, so that's cool: <a href="https://www.bucksherald.co.uk/news/rock-n-roll-s-greatest-failure-drives-sinclair-c5-down-new-link-road-1-6329362" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.bucksherald.co.uk/news/rock-n-roll-s-greatest-failure-drives-sinclair-c5-down-new-link-road-1-6329362</a>
