Hamburg 1.3 Update (Release Info & Update Plans)

Hamburg by 4r 1.3 Update will be released in just a few hours, below you will find some important info about the release and upcoming update plans.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW...

This 1.3 Update is a huge technical and visual makeover for the Hamburg by 4r map, supposed to raise the quality of the track to a new level in nearly every aspect. There are lots of new objects, vegetation and track details, texture and mesh fixes & most importantly, the whole map has been repositioned in blender, to fix the shaking camera/car issue once and for all.

This also means that, for now, it is not possible to extend this 1.3 Hamburg version with any of the previous maps. But this is only temporary - it will be possible again with the upcoming 1.3 update for Denmark map.

Important for Server Owners:

This 1.3 Update will install into a new map folder, so it will not be compatible with older versions. If you want to run Hamburg on servers, make sure to update to this new 1.3 version - otherwise if you keep the old version running on server, people with the new version can not join. Like before there is a free and a paid version, and both can join together on server. Traffic spline for the new map is included in the map folder.

WHAT'S COMING NEXT?

The Denmark and Sweden maps are currently beeing reconstructed, so that with future updates, Denmark can be connected again with Hamburg, and Sweden will be connectable with Stockholm map. This is again a huge technical challenge, and has to happen step after step. Still, with all these reconstructions I try my best to give each map a huge visual makeover, aside from the technical changes. For Denmark this has already started, lots of the very narrow roads will be widened up a bit, also I have planned to rebuild the ''Copenhagen'' area to achieve a bit more realism when driving to the Highway-City sections. Also the very long sections have been shortened a bit, it should not feel like something is missing, but makes the whole drive alot more exciting. Also same as with Hamburg there will be lots of new objects and more quality vegetation details.
