RePoll: Superhero Name

Hey everyone,

I am reposting GOTSIS Superhero Name poll, because I realized that I conducted the poll far too early. (June 2024 which was like fifteen ago. That's like 17-18 chapters as far as GotSIS is concerned.)

So, now that you know Harry better and the direction this story is going in, I'm asking you all to revote on this. (Or vote for the first time for the newer patrons). Though, keep in mind the old poll wont be obselete. I will still consider it by adding and averaging the votes.

Right now, Emrys has won, which, I think is a stellar name, with a deep enough meaning to Harry. I've even written the next chapter with that name in mind, but a couple of my discord member feel differently, opting for the 'cooler' names than, well, a name that used to be a name.

So, I'm posting the top FIVE choices from the past poll, to streamline this:

1. Emrys: This name stands of Myrddin Emrys, AKA Merlin, who is one of the most famous wizards of all times. He is also a connecting point between both worlds for Harry, alongside being British, which can suit Harry to the T.

2. Sentinel: The word means a soldier or guard whose job is to stand and keep watch. It fits Harry well (and is a synonym to guardian.) It has a direct connection to the title without the blandness or overly cheesy thing that some of the hero names usually have. Once it was my leading option, but I have aged past it, feeling it is rather pretentious.

3. Arcane: One of the first names that were suggested, I feel that it can pretty well sum up what Harry will be for the general public when he becomes an Avenger.

4. Phoenix: Harry has a deep connection with this name, and it is a lovely superhero name.

5. Magus: Magus... Mage, do I need to say more?
