Prince series & Me

Hello everyone!

So, a while ago, I posted a poll about the Prince series I was planning on doing. I wanted to give an update on that because I know a lot of you are looking forward to it. I have written the entire script. I have almost enough VAs for it. However, I'm going to be rewriting the entire thing.

I'm going to talk about myself for a bit. It might seem like rambling, but I will be tying it all together.

During my time as a content creator, I've had a lot of ideas and characters that had a lot of potential. I created interesting premises and left them. Mainly due to impatience; I tend to have an idea and really want people to see it, so instead of setting something up and building it up over time, I moreso try to give that same experience in a single audio. This has caused problems. I do prefer my content to be unique, both among other content creators but also among my own works. But with the ideas I've had and my failure to develop and invest in them over these years, I feel I am in a unique position - not necessarily a bad one.

I love worldbuilding. I love character building. I love storytelling. But I haven't gone all out. A lot of my works are improvisations, and fewer of my works are scripts. Which isn't a bad thing, and from feedback, I know people are happy with the quality... but I know I can do better.

I get imposter syndrome at times, and other times, I get surprised that people like what I've made.

But perhaps the reason for that isn't just happenstance. It's because I haven't truly gone all out.

I haven't been creating works that show my full ability to worldbuild or develop character or to tell a great story. And that is crazy because these are things I love. So, with the Prince Series, that is what I want to do.

I'm not looking to create a masterpiece. I'm not aiming for perfection. I simply want to show you all what I can truly create.

In the past, I've been deterred from doing so because from a business point of view, it is high risk, high reward. So, I did focus on growing Patreon more. But as Patreon seems more stable and continues to grow, Im more comfortable taking these risks. An ideal scenario would be once it is all done, my work pays off, and I can perhaps transition into creating fleshed out worlds, characters, and more. Revisiting old works such as the mafia series (which was all improvised).

That is what I meant about myself being in a "unique position", I have a lot of old audios. With a lot of potential. Which I can pick up, scriptify, and flesh out into something grand..

All this being said. I'm going to keep uploading (I'm recording at a hotel right now) while working on this Prince Series script. I'm hoping part 1 will be uploaded before October.

I've linked a short story that I wrote when I was 16. I was speaking to an older boy at the time, and I wrote the story as a warning to myself.

Hope you have a good night/day & thank you for being here πŸ–€

Your story is a heartfelt tale of curiosity and unexpected turns. Leall's adventurous spirit and his yearning to explore the world beyond his hutch are relatable and endearing. His encounter with Chance the wolf introduces themes of companionship and vulnerability. The story masterfully creates an emotional connection with the reader as they follow Leall's journey through the forest, and his interactions with Chance tug at the heartstrings. The ending, though tragic, leaves a lasting impact, serving as a reminder of the unpredictability of life's events. The vivid descriptions and personal touch in the narrative make it a compelling read. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for sharing this with us 😊 this was encouraging to read as someone who is dealing with some imposter syndrome myself. Im really excited to see how you'll grow this page and take all the time you need for your work. You have our support! Can't wait to read your short story later ❀️
