Personal update about this month

I feel like this month has been a complete disaster, and I think I should talk about it here.

First, I started this month tabling at a local con, and con prep always eat up more of my time than I'd like. 

Then my cat got sick. She has chronic stomach problems, and we've done some tests and health checks. I think we've been to the vet almost every week this month (and I'm still not sure she's okay).

I'm working on a (long) comic project outside of Patreon that I have to finish next month. It's taking up a lot of my time because it's quite urgent. Actually, I should have finished it a long time ago, bc it's been on hiatus since before I opened my Patreon! So I feel really guilty that I haven't finished it yet.... 

Received August postcards really late from the printer, and I didn't have time yet to prepare the envelopes and sign them.

Chapter 2 of FMP! should have been written by now, but I feel like I haven't had a good night's sleep this month, between worries and my cat waking me up several times during the night. My concentration has gone down the drain between lack of sleep and stress and I can’t write a line.

Truth is I thought I could handle it all, but my time management skills are terrible and I don't handle stress well. I thought about pausing Patreon billing next month, but my budget can't afford it after paying a lot of money in vet bills... and I hate the idea of pausing it in one of my favorite seasons.

So... plans for October.

I wanted to release the second chapter of FMP! in October, but it's very difficult for me to work on two long comics at the same time. So it'll be a bit delayed. I hope to start sharing it in November.  I'm really sorry! I'll keep doing short comics about them and answering the Q&A (thanks a lot for the questions, you guys are great, I got a lot of them and many give me ideas for the comic! By the way, the questionnaire is still open!) 

It's my first long original project, it's super special to me, and I want to do it right.

I don't think I've shared much NSFW here lately, and I do miss a lot drawing spicy art, but the reason is that lately... I'm not motivated to draw fanart!!!!   I feel bad about it because I think a lot of people here prefer it, but I don't have any inspiration towards any fandom right now. But October is a month I really like, and I would like to make Halloween themed lewds every week…  Which are your favorite spooky creatures, btw? 👀

As for the August postcard, I'll send it with this month's fanzine next week. I'm going to get everything ready this weekend. I'm very sorry for the delay, really.
