"For the team" charity zine comic.
Added 2020-02-12 10:02:17 +0000 UTCDuring Free! Dive to the Future I was invited to join two charity zines! This was the second one. The profit from this zine was donated to "Friends International", an organization which helps marginalized children around the world.
This wasn't a ship focused zine but a friendship themed one, and I got really excited with the idea. Ships are fun, but friendship in Free! is so honest and pure... that was what engaged me to this series for sure.
I wanted to work with the original Iwatobi team and draw them as kids! I even did some studies with captions from the series, they are so cute and expressive. Wish I had the time to do this comic in color, but still, I'm really proud of the shading of this one.
