Less than 4 weeks out!! Sunday updates

Happy Sunday everyone,

I hope you have had a lovely weekend!

For me, it's been lots of training, as always. We are now less than four weeks out, and things are starting to get real!

There hasn't been any drop in weight in the past couple of days, but the shreds are coming. I have a check-in with my coach tomorrow, so we shall see if there are any changes to the plan.

I have decided to head home on Sunday (my rent runs out where I am staying, and financially, it doesn't make sense to stay longer).

As well as that, it is tough to sort out getting a bikini/ fitness suit + everything I need for competition and warm weather clothes (because it will be cold in the US) out here. So, it makes more sense to head home for the last couple of weeks of prep.

This prep (although it's been short) has certainly had its struggles! But I can confirm cardio (most days now feels relatively easy). Some days, I have a lot of energy, and others very little. In a dieting phase (especially when body fat is low), it's very easy to get agitated by things. My most challenging part has been not feeling as friendly as usual πŸ™ˆ. Usually, I am very friendly, chatty, happy, etc., but when energy is extremely low, and I have to get the job done, I almost have to isolate myself πŸ˜‚. Put my blinkers on and focus on the task at hand.

Calories are still at 1333 training days and 1264 non-training days. Cardio is 45mins stairs a day and steps at 16500. I mentioned in my last video I will be performing the same routine I performed 2 years ago. The main reason is that I don't have enough time to make something up that will be of good quality for this competition (when so many things are left to the last minute!). One of the main aims is to get an invite to the Arnolds 2024. (I have found out only the winner receives an invitation…but if I do, I will 100% make up a new routine for it.

I have sorted flights and accommodation for the competition and booked tanning and makeup! Makeup is very early (4.4am); lucky I am a very early riser πŸ˜‚.

So, we are getting more prepared for the competition and hopefully will bring the best package to the stage (so far).

I will film a couple of weight training videos this week! And we have booked some photoshoots for when I get home!

I haven't forgotten it is Halloween next week, so we shall see if we can bring a Halloween special when home πŸ‘» πŸŽƒ
