Happy Sunday, everyone!
I hope you are all having a fantastic weekend :)
This weekend has been a turning point (for the best) in prep. I have felt much more energised, and cardio has been relatively easy. I don't know if it's because I am used to it now or because I feel lighter and less sluggishβ¦. But I love this feeling :).
Weight is down at its lowest, 52.4kg (115.5lbs), and we still have just under six weeks to go. Coach is pleased with where we are, and I am starting to see the changes and leanest coming. I'm excited to see the quad definition, and hopefully, glutes and hamstring tie-ins will show soon (usually the last on a female to show).
Yesterday, I had an excellent handstand/ contortion session ( I filmed it; you will see it in a video today :)). I want to put as many complex strength/ contortion movements as possible into my routine, and we are now in an excellent place to do so. Training for the routine is still very early stages (I know I keep saying it, but this week, I must make a lot of progress with it!).
For now, cardio is 45mins stair master daily, steps 16500, and calories:
1333cals and 1267cals non-training days. Initially, I felt hungry, but now I think my body is used to them.
I have cut out gluten, dairy, and anything processed (protein powder, etc) in the last couple of days and honestly feel so much better ( with the bloating situation).
Overall, I am happy with the progress and how I feel this week. Hopefully, the rest of the prep will continue like this!
