Ubud

Happy Sunday, all!

I hope everyone is getting into the festive spirit and having a great weekend.

This weekend I decided to take a trip to Ubud. It's been around 3/4 years since I was last here, and it feels strange (in a good way) to be back. However, everything is very familiar, and surprisingly many things are the same (Bali often develops rapidly, so you leave and come back the following year with everything altogether different). I have revisited all my favourite places for walks, coffee, yoga, smoothies, and my favourite bookshop. I remember sitting in the cafe I visited yesterday (for a banana smoothie) and saying to myself every year, I would like to revisit this place and reflect on the goals and dreams I have set for myself. Then plan and visualise the following goals and dreams. It's crazy and overwhelmingly magical to think I am back here and able to do this. And even better to realise that many of the goals I initially set have been achieved!

The energy in Ubud feels very different from Canggu, and I can hand on my heart say it has been an excellent decision to come here. I feel so many positive vibes. If I were to return to Bali again (after this trip), I would consider staying in Ubud rather than Canggu.

It's been lovely to go to the radiantly alive yoga studio and experience such brilliant teaching. I feel blessed to be taught by experienced yoga teachers in a beautiful, calming studio. (This was the original studio where I fell in love with yoga.)

There are many things I wish to learn and develop, and Crossfit and yoga are two areas that have become evident from this trip that I want to immerse myself in and gain a more profound understanding/practice.

I am reading the book Mastery by Robert Greene, which talks about being an apprentice and learning from great mentors. I want to do precisely this with Crossfit and Yoga. It takes 10,000 hours to Master (or become very good at) something (roughly seven years of consistent practice). So let's see what we can do with these areas! I am excited and fortunate to experience inclinations for these activities.

My time in Bali is ending for this trip, and I have decided to leave by mid-December. So the choice I need to make is whether I go back home or back to Phuket. There are many advantages for both places. So I will decide in the next couple of days.

I am happy with the clarity gained from this visit to Ubud and can't wait to share the next steps with you all.

Sending so much gratitude to you, and thank you immensely for joining me and being part of this incredible life and fitness journey. ❤️❤️❤️

Video out tomorrow 🌸🤗🤸‍♀️☀️
