Happy Wednesday, everyone :)
Firstly I wanted to say a massive thank you for all your birthday messages, I appreciate them, and I had a lovely day with my family.
We are now back to schedule! The beginning of the week started very well with training, and I have been trying to keep my digestion as good as possible.
Monday was excellent; Tuesday, unfortunately, a bit bloated again (I'm not sure if I ate something that triggered the bloating or, more likely, it was the time of the month as it was accompanied by extreme fatigue). Anyway, today I feel far better again :).
I mentioned I was getting a metabolism tracker. I have been using this, and I need to consume more fat and less carbohydrate from the tracker. I will implement the new macro intake into my diet, hoping that my energy levels will remain optimal, and I estimate energy crashes!
It's been fascinating so far seeing how my body responds upon waking, before meals, and around training times to carbs and fat. And as well as increasing fat and decreasing carbs, I need to improve my protein intake (to prevent muscle loss).
Overall, I feel a lot better than when I was prepping, and I know it's still the early stages of gut health recovery and optimization. But, as long as it's going in the right direction, I am happy.
As I mentioned in my last post, my training routine has been picking up very well. I tend to do my weight session in the morning. Cycle to and from the gym (roughly 6km each way). Then a walk at some point and a handstand session later in the day. And this keeps me in an excellent flow stay, leaving me feeling fantastic and helping me to achieve all my goals.
On Monday, I also added some HITT interval training on the treadmill and really enjoyed it (it might be a regular part of my routine).
I have looked into a potential upcoming trip. However, it is not looking very feasible. Flights and accommodation are extortionate (with school holidays) and to be honest, the weather is good in the UK at the moment so all is good :).
I finally want to double down on expanding certain areas of my business, and now is a good time to crack down on that. I will look at working from a co-working space as I miss having people to bounce off.
Other than that, all is good. I want to be as consistent as possible with everything. The one area I always have consistency with is training, so if I can replicate this in all areas of my life, exciting things will happen :).
I hope everyone is having a lovely week, and videos are coming soon.
Much love, R xx
