Rewrite Update and Relfections on Food

Hiya, this is Hermit.

It's been a while so I guess I wanted to do another overview post for once.

First off the not so great news: Rewrites are hell. I'm trying to make progress, and might actually get the first four chapters released in bulk today or tomorrow, but it is taking much longer than I thought it would. We'll see how quickly I get along, I hope it'll get faster once I go beyond the first 10 or so chapters.

If you want me to keep you updated on this, please tell me. I'm not sure how much interest there is in the rewrite, or in news posts like this one in general.

Second, in much better news: Book 2 has been shaping up great, and I've been having above average fun writing it.

However, I've been struggling a bit deciding on Corco's menu for the banquet, since there's far too many choices and far too much to consider (beyond the desert, which I've got super down).

So I thought I might as well ask you guys and gals if you wanna play along. If you have any foods you think are fantastimazing enough to be served to royalty, please put them in the comments. :D

Remember though: No new world foods, which means no tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, peanuts, maize/corn etc.
