知らない男の低い声が、闇の向こうから笑う。

「“いないほうが都合いい” …そう言ってたぜ？」

ヨルが息を呑んで振り返った時、

平和なリビングは、もう狩り場になっていた──

②【着物】「静かな旅館、彼女だけに用意された間」

「本当に…ここで“研修”をするんですか？」

知らない土地に転移したばかりのヨルは、不安を隠しながら古い旅館に足を踏み入れた。

案内役の男は、笑顔のまま鍵を閉める。

「ええ、ゆっくり“体験”してもらいますよ。あなたには特別な…ね」

廊下の明かりは薄暗く、他の従業員の姿はどこにもない。

胸元を冷たい風が撫で、ヨルは初めて気づく。

ここは研修の場ではなく——彼女だけを狙うための場所だ──

③【妊婦】「休息の湯に忍び寄る追跡者」

休暇で訪れた温泉。

湯に身を沈めたヨルは、ようやく穏やかな時間を味わっていた――はずだった。

静かに開く脱衣所の戸。

湯気の向こうから現れた影が、彼女の腹元へ目を細める。

「引退したって噂、確かめに来たんですよ。

……今のあなたなら、簡単でしょう？」

凍りつく空気。

武器もない。逃げ場もない。
