深夜、施設のエレベーターが勝手に動き出した。
晶が乗り込むと、行き先ボタンはどれも反応しない。
「……どこへ向かってるの？」
やがて止まった扉の先、闇の中で“誰かの呼吸音”だけが聞こえた。
開いた扉の先、まぶしい光と──
複数の視線の気配──
②「静寂の体育館」
練習後の体育館、汗ばむユニフォームのまま忘れ物を探す晶。
誰もいないはずのコートの奥から──
「ずっと、待ってたよ」
囁き声とともに、照明が…消えた──
③「微笑む医師──」
「今日は一人で来たんですね、東堂さん。」
そう言って、医師はゆっくりとドアの鍵をかけた。
蛍光灯の白い光が、晶の顔を青ざめさせる──
