It seems the dub is the much more popular choice for this show. I've already filmed up through episode 3 using the subbed version but started the dub as of episode 4. There's no perfect way to do it given that I started with subs but hopefully this ultimately creates a best-of-both-worlds situation.

David talks about how he learned in that school that "a lot of people died making that rock into something" or whatever he said. And also, there's a rocket that takes people there that you keep seeing in the background lol

2023-09-28 21:18:54 +0000 UTCxD My headcanon: Toll collector guy can't be there 24/7. He's there during morning hours, when people have to rush to go to school / work. Like, let's say, 7am-10am. But the return trip is not as uniform for everyone. People could return any time between 3pm - 11pm. So it's double+ the hours, for the same amount of money (lol). Plus, if he gets TOO greedy, a mob could easily take him down. Staircase toll collector guy is shaping to be best background character. Probably academy dropout too. Good business sense. Works smarter, not harder. Has a good grip on his target demographic. Doesn't go full corpo greed. I stan.
