2023-08-21 21:09:02 +0000 UTCI've seen them and they're on here. Though the snake team captain is more likeable now that he's in the stands with his girlfriend

2023-08-21 21:08:07 +0000 UTC1:44 The subtitles dropped entirely. "We'll never know" ?? 😢 Literally for what other purpose am I even here? Haha! I'll try to translate. First, in Japanese what he said was: おそらく早瑠川工業もここは相当警戒していると思います. Basically: "I'm thinking that Sarukawa is paying extra close attention to those players" (down the middle, like Lev/Kuroo/Yamamoto, and therefore that they have fewer attentional resources to dedicate to Fukunaga on the outside) At 9:18, Kenma says the same thing when he's reviewing their strategy: they must be paying extra attention to Lev/Kuroo, so that's why he thinks he can use them as a lure. 2:20 They wrote that they need a lot of persistence to put "direct pressure" on the setter, but what he actually said was that it takes a lot to put *indirect* pressure on someone like a setter. They can't directly target Kenma. They have to keep forcing the defenders to make bad passes, and that indirectly forces Kenma to run to get it. 3:07 they said that you have to run around a lot as "the center," but he actually said you have to run around a lot as "the setter" (obviously). 8:55 They have Kenma saying "Because you're all so determined," which is okay, but word-for-word he said "because you all are able to use your 'guts,'" which is weirdly how they subtitle the same line at 18:00. 15:30 Your explanation of the word 'guts' is spot on. 根性 ('konjou') is that kind of willpower and drive. Literally your 'roots' or your 'foundation'.

2023-08-21 20:45:04 +0000 UTCI found out there's actually two OVAs showing how Nekoma made it to nationals, they have the only team in all of Haikyuu!! I actually dislike, they make cheap moves and even trash talk when someone gets injured.

2023-08-21 18:10:50 +0000 UTCI had a brain fart and thought the Karasuno - Inarizaki match was over for some reason. I've watched the anime a long time ago but forget where it is heading.
