Gantz is dopeee. There’s an older anime adaptation that went on for awhile and did alright, but yeah the Netflix movie is definitely the best adaptation out there. The 3D work is pretty incredible tbh

This arc is glorious and is guaranteed to get a bunch of recognition cause early Gojo/Geto years and a great villain (Toji). The next arc though….completely reshapes the entire atmosphere, setting, and trajectory of the rest of the story to follow and it’s by no means a stretch to say that it’s one of the first things that comes to many people’s mind when you say “actual PEAK battle shounen arcs”

Most times you see an antagonist win a fight it either only leads to a few minor injuries or the character just passes out for a while or somethin lol. But nah Toji not only went for the throat and then split him down the side after, he also stabbed down his thigh to make sure he ruptured Gojo’s femoral artery, AND as a final measure decided to drive a knife straight into Gojo’s forehead for the last blow. Like say what you will about Toji, but one thing you can NOT say about him is that he half asses his work lol

From everything that we saw in the 0 film with those twins, and his crew that he had and was concerned about, and now in these three episodes too. He really loves watching the bond between the maid and Riko. Cares about both their wants and needs. To me Gojo and Geto’s relationship with Riko read like a lil adoptive family. And then of course there’s Gojo and Geto’s relationship. Gojo has been firmly established as practically a walking god from what we have seen from him in S1 up to now. But no one seems to genuinely care about his well-being because … well … god like power. But Geto is perspective and quite mature for his years here and views Gojo as the teenager and fallible, mortal human he is. It seems to always catch Gojo off guard when Geto actually compliments him and is concerned about him. Makes me think that throughout Gojo’s life he’s been just viewed as the ‘gifted’ individual he is and not just Satoru. That’s what makes viewing their close relationship here soo painful. There’s real, honest, care and love here and it just sucks knowing how tragic everything is going to become.
