In Haikyuu 2x25, Declaration of War, Oikawa may have lost but at least he's still sexy enough to get all the TV coverage.

Man, I almost teared up when Alex reacted to the ending sequence and "Battle of Concepts" started playing.

Ruma Risto

These reactions are so good and getting me so excited for the upcoming Movies for this great story! Can’t wait for season3 reactions!

Emman Reed

Domestic abuse and all

Just wanted to ask if you ever watch 2 episodes in one sitting. There are 2 episodes in this season that are kinda weird. I dont want to spoil anything but i do believe watching them back to back in one sitting would be better than watching one and then maybe taking a couple days off before watching the next one. I think it just flows better

UndeadDesk

Can't wait to start (after the short scene from season 2 I still need to watch)

Season 3 is my personal favorite season. I love the op, gets the people going.

Athena

Hinata and Kageyama fighting like an old married couple just makes my day lol

Athena

That's much better line from Kageyama I think. I was recently asked if I learned Korean in the countryside based on one particular phrase I used that I thought was standard. I learned it from my ex girlfriend who was indeed from a small "city" far from Seoul.

Oikawa’s pettiness will push him to greater heights.

“What else do we need besides pride?!” -Yamaguchi “Don’t you ever forget my worthless pride.” -Oikawa

I love how you were like "watch season 3 be only 10 episodes." It literally is just 10 episodes LMFAO.

5:10 I always wondered what Turnip-head would've said there if Kunimi hadn't interrupted him. I think he needs to apologize to start healing whatever scars he has left from that experience, but Kunimi is not having it. 8:00 "worthless pride." The word they say as 'worthless' is 'toru ni taranai' (取るに足らない), which is great. It's from business encounters, and it's used for something that you can't sell no matter how cheap you make it. It literally means something that you wouldn't even want to take if it were offered for free. I think Oikawa really responds to that appropriately, being told that his pride in who he is and the people he built a team with are thought of so flippantly. Especially after a loss like this, coming back and saying 'No, what I've done up until now IS worth something' takes a lot. 9:15 "Can we afford a bus driver?" Umm.... you have seen public schools in Japan? No, no we absolutely cannot. Even if you could afford one, the mere NOTION that you would spend people's money to hire someone else to do a job that you could do yourself if you're just willing to work yourself ragged is antithetical to public servant culture. (Obviously, that is not a defense of it, but just to say, the thought probably never even crossed Takeda's mind that he could outsource that instead of saving money by doing it himself) It probably bears mentioning that Shiratorizawa (the actual 'last boss') is a private school, and money isn't an issue there. 11:55 The TV intro: "good after-evening" / "konnichibanwa" is a nice little local Miyagi dialect feature. It's just a combination of "konnichiwa" (good afternoon) and "konbanwa" (good evening), and people in Miyagi / Iwate really do say it. The whole Tohoku region in general has a lot of peculiar greetings like that. When I lived in Akita on the other side of the mountains, people would say "Oban desu" for "good evening," and I was totally convinced that that was "standard Japanese" until I said it to my friends in Tokyo and got laughed at for sounding like some country bumpkin. 18:24 Kageyama getting angry and they had him saying "I thanked her, didn't I?" That's one possible translation; it's not bad, but I think 'chanto kansha shitendakara' is more like, "I really do feel thankful, so [that's what's important, not my words]"

Ryan

Yeah, hope you react to it too, but if not, please do watch it before season 3 as it's quite a bitter sweet heartwarming end to this season which for whatever reason wasn't included this last episode unfortunately. A lot of people miss out on it due to not knowing about it.

Bighead

I dont know if anyone has linked this already, but its a special Aoba Johsai ending in the vein of the post credit scene of season 1.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lao54_hFaA0
